We are pleased to announce the participation of:

- Simon Labarthe is a researcher in applied mathematics, with main applications in microbial ecology, within the Pleiade team (Biogeco, INRAE and Inria). His main interest lies in the development of mathematical models to decipher the (spatio-)temporal dynamics of microbial communities and integrate multi-omics data. He develops generic modeling frameworks with applications to various ecosystems, including the gut microbiota, food, bioprocesses, and plant microbiota.

- Vittorio Capozzi is a senior researcher at the Institute of Food Production Sciences (ISPA) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). He holds a PhD in food biotechnology, with a thesis on the molecular biology of lactic acid bacteria. During his doctoral studies, he spent nine months in Dijon, France, working at the Jules Guyot Institute, the University of Burgundy, and the National School of Applied Biology for Nutrition and Food. He completed postdoctoral fellowships at the Italian National Agricultural Research Council (CRA), the University of Foggia, the Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences at the University of Bordeaux (as a visiting researcher), the Free University of Bolzano, and the Edmund Mach Foundation.
